Graveyard Shift
In June 1968 Steppenwolf released 'Born to be Wild' and the "heavy metal thunder" was born. 43 years later and the music is still going strong, as Sick Drummer's own Wayne Madden welcomes you to Graveyard Shift, your only choice for Heavy Metal and Hard Rock to AOR and Classics. On every programme Wayne endeavours to bring the best guests, play the best music and report the best news for Metal in the North East. Catch him exclusively on YRadio.

- Graveyard Shift with Bruce Robertson14 Feburary 2012
- One of our YMCA Director's, Mr Bruce Robertson, has been a champion of Y Radio ever since Daniel Fawcus did his first broadcast under Youth Voice FM in 2008. Because of his own personal passion for music and his love of what we do around here, we felt it only right to allow him his own guest host spot on The Graveyard Shift, which kind of serves as a pilot for a show he may (or may not) be doing in the very near future all about Punk. Is Bruce an Indie boy, or a Punk head? Make your own mind up, as Bruce plays a varied set-list featuring incredible artists like The Alarm, Social Distortion, The Wedding Present, Perfect Daze, The Jam, The Farm and U2. There's also new music from Bullets and Octane and a double bill of Queen - a little Bohemian Rhapsody, gentlemen? You're going to love this playlist. Plus, big news coming very soon about the expansion of The Graveyard Shift, and taking it all to a whole new level. Watch this space. Click Here To Listen
