Get Involved with YRadio
Have you ever wanted to have a radio show of your own, provide content for other shows or would like to help out in producing? If that sounds like it floats your boat (we currently don't have a fishing show) then please email yradio@ymcanorthtyneside.org and get yourself involved! Also, for all you budding writers out there, we now have a reviews section for everything from music and games to films and events. So please feel free to get in touch if this is more your thing!
Get Involved and Learn with YStudio
YStudio has numerous events and activities to get you involved in music. YStudio enables people from all backgrounds to have access to state of the art recording and rehearsal facilities. YSessions are fun and engaging workshops while our YEducation programme works with local schools and colleges to nurture talent. Check the YStudio Page to find out more information.
Radio101
Get Involved with Radio101. YRadio organises a 7 week course that aims to teach 10-15 year olds about radio leading to an opportunity to be on YRadio and host their own show. Every young perosn in attendence will have the chance to do their own show for young people, buy young people, talking about any subject they wish to talk about.
